REHABILITATION Mount Regis Center, located in Southwest Virginia, has been recognized as a national center of excellence for its quality alcohol and drug dependency treatment programs since 1947. Joshua's Dream Foundation, located in Viper Kentucky. Joshua’s Dream Foundation is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of drug addicts and their families in east Kentucky through Christ centered, no-cost residential rehabilitation. The organization came into being because of the dream of Joshua Castle Coots, a drug addict, who himself was rescued from the addiction to drugs by a facility similar to Joshua’s Dream. It was his dream to open a facility like this in his native east Kentucky and help others to kick the addiction and rebuild their lives. Joshua never realized his dream. His life ended at 22 years old because of the effects of the drugs on his body. It is the mission of the foundation to help residents of east Kentucky to rebuild their lives, reshape their future, and restore them as active contributing members of their communities.
Jefferson Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center (JADAC), locate in Louisville, KY,
Opened in 1975, the facility holds the distinction of being the first building
specifically constructed to supply care for indigent substance-dependent
patients. As a part of the Seven Counties Services, JADAC provides substance
abuse services not only to residents of urban Louisville, but to residents of
the surrounding rural counties as well. JADAC provided over 59,000 services to
5,400 clients in its most recent fiscal year. In addition to providing treatment
services, JADAC has been designated “Kentucky’s Chemical Dependency Treatment
