CHURCH HISTORY

Blackwater Baptist Church #1 was established in 1922. It began as a one room church. Over the years we have added Sunday School Rooms; basement; restrooms; baptistry; picnic shelter; and in 2002 added on a fellowship hall. The church is considering building a new church in the same spot where the church is currently "just leaving the fellowship hall".
